MAGICQ SOFTWARE

Download MagicQ PC from our download page. MagicQ PC is a complete lighting console for Windows, Mac or Linux supporting 18 Ethernet universes (9216 channels) and industry standard DMX interfaces.

MagicQ PC is FREE and is NOT time limited or dongled. Download it and start running your shows now!

Using our free software and low cost PC Wings, you can grow your MagicQ system. Show files are completely interchangable, and the interface is always the same.

MEDIA CONTROL

MagicQ's powerful Media Engine enables control of up to 50 different Media Servers with different content on each. Media selection from thumbnail images on the console touch screen, together with 8 encoder wheels for parameter adjustment and live layer and master previews on the console, makes media control easy.

ChamSys MagicQ consoles have been used at many festivals worldwide, including Glastonbury, Leeds, Reading, Big Chill, Green Man, Beautiful Days, Bulldog Bash, Pink Pop, Austin City Limits, Lolapolooza and many more.

MagicQ consoles can be connected together to allow live pre-cueing of festival shows. Extra touch monitors can be used to provide multiple Palette selection.

THEATRE AND DANCE

MagicQ consoles have proven their flexibility in theatres and dance venues. The full traditional Cue Stacking system makes it easy for operators to use.

Keypad entry of channel numbers, separate timing on any channel, and on any attribute of moving lights enables the operator to program the required effect.

MagicQ's inbuilt "Move when dark" functionality makes MagicQ ideal for controlling moving lights in theatre with silent transitions to the next step.

Split timing masters, inhibit masters, global execution rate masters and timed release enabling the operator to adapt to the live action.

LIVE SHOWS

A MagicQ MQ200 console have been used to control lighting for the Pogues Christmas arena tours throughout the UK and Ireland since 2004. Lighting Designer Ian Turner programming the show using the MQ200 connected to Capture Visualiser.

In 2008, MagicQ was used on The Ting Tings, Pigeon Detectives, Flaming Lips, Hot Chip, Sarah Brightman, Fall Out Boy, Roison Murphy, Lil' Wayne and many more live acts and tours.

ARCHITECTURAL

MagicQ Media FX engine is ideal for controlling automated architectural installations consisting of generic lights, LED technology and LED arrays. MagicQ interfaces through serial and Ethernet to music, video and show control systems.
